Healthy pizza? Is there such a thing? Heck yes, there is. And today I am showing you how to make your own healthy pizza quickly and easily.
Mini Pizzas (2 pizzas)

Ingredients
- 2 (whole grain) pitas
- 80 g pizza tomatoes (canned)
- 40 g corn (canned)
- 30 g red bell pepper
- 25–30 g sliced chicken breast or ham
- 30–40 g (fat-reduced) grated cheese
Preparation
Pre-heat the oven to 190C (375F). Spread the pitas with pizza tomatoes. Of course you can also use fresh tomatoes or whatever strikes your fancy. Add toppings as desired, and top off with the grated cheese.
Bake the mini pizzas on a baking sheet for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted. Season with spices, such as salt, pepper, and oregano. Done!
The calories for this mini pizza vary depending on the toppings you use, but with the ones I used, they were about 250 calories a piece. I ate two of them, but if you make a salad to go with them or something, one would probably fill you up too. They’re super quick to make, and really tasty.
P.S. For those of you living in Germany, I used whole grain pitas by Davert. I have found them at basic and Alnatura grocery stores.
